Legacy is the old GOH, GOH certificate is the new.
You can only use Legacy if these two conditions are met -
1) You were a Globalist on 12/31/23, if you earned Globalist for the first time in 2024 you cannot use legacy.
2) You have depleted all of your GOH certificates, meaning there are 0 in your account.
If both of these are met then and only then can you utilize the Legacy GOH benefit. Basically the only differences are Legacy is unlimited (you can make 20 bookings without issue), you can use Free Night Certificates with Legacy the reason you cannot use them with GOH certificates is because Hyatt’s IT will not allow the use of 2 different types of certificates on a reservation. However, with the GOH certificates you get 1 EQN after the user’s stay is completed. Those are the differences.
