So United grants 20 plus points for every additional $3k spend, once 1k status is achieved. If they were to give the option of a Polaris lounge voucher or two instead, I’m sure that might interest people. While it wouldn’t be interesting to me, I like having more options.
Or as another option, the ability to cash in PlusPoints and turn them into Polaris Lounge passes so PPs actually worth something.
