I was originally going to fly Alaska to Cancun for the direct flight on the way there, but that also has the inconvenience of getting a taxi and ferry to Cozumel. So, I am considering a more expensive flight on AA that connects in DFW (from PDX). The AA flight going there is difficult (leaves at 1 am), but going back is much better compared to the Alaska. Each flight option has some difficulty and some ease.

So, are the flights pretty reliable to Cozumel? I wasn't sure since it is probably much smaller than Cancun if there was a pattern of a difference. This is during the holiday season, if that makes a difference.
