Agree with you about SLC being very friendly. I'm there frequently as someone who resides in Twin Falls and Delta has the only flights to and from SLC. I've experienced this friendliness not only with Delta, but with UA, AA, and AS staff at SLC when connecting on separate PNRs. Even the folks at the front desks are super friendly when rechecking connections from long haul TPAC/TATL on OALs.

Bartenders in the SC are also very friendly and one is an avid F1 fan that makes for a good experience during weekend layovers.
