Stayed here for 2 nights for work. It was perfectly fine. I was annoyed to be charged for premium internet as a Globalist, and I will be disputing that charge. Upgrade was a small balcony with a partial ocean view. No explanation of benefits at check-in.

Bed was comfortable. Water pressure/shower pressure was good. There was only one elevator working for part of our stay, so it was slow to get up and down. Staff was fine.

Hotel is within walking distance to pier, shopping, and restaurants.

I will be interested to see the renovation as it felt pretty dark throughout the hotel and even with the balcony room. I had considered coming in a day early and the rate would have been north of $400. I would have been disappointed at that level.
