EDIT: Just called in, got an agent in Montreal who confirmed she could see the ticket as dated for the 27th, 9pm EST. So definitely within the booking dates. And so my conclusion is that for whatever reason, somehow the AC website is pulling the date from the local system time....
The website takes the booking (or ticketing?) time and displays it in your local time. So if I book something now, it will say the 27th. If you book something now, it will say the 28th. But they'd both be booked/ticketed at the same time.

We'll just see if their promotion system is getting better at handling not-UTC.
