Thankfully in the United system there aren't many places UA flies the CR2 to that are more than a 4-5 hour drive from an airport with a non-torture-tube service. As much as I don't enjoy long-distance driving I can, will, and have driven from a "nearby" airport with real service (or done a stupid connection) to avoid the shame of the CR2.

My most recent CR2 flight was by pure accident -- a domestic flight in Zambia. (not UA, obviously)
