JFK-ZRH does not operate daily in Jan and Feb. CVG-ZRH flights are only offered on dates when JFK-ZRH operates and delta.com is not offering any partner connecting options in EU on dates when it does not.
Even one-stop options are limited. There are multiple CDG and AMS connecting options from DTW-ZRH on Jan 15th, but the only ones available on delta.com involve CDG on AF metal.
It's clearly not a bucket availability issue (at least by what ExpertFlyer is showing). It seems more like an issue with Flight Application section of DL fare rules.
