The horrific, disgusting, nauseating smell hits you upon entering the lobby. It’s like there’s a dead body somewhere rotting.
It’s that bad. And I have significantly less smell ability vs most people.
On duty crew (SWA, UPS, Air Tahiti Nui, Asiana that I saw) stay here. I feel really bad for them.
If you do stay here, try to get a tower room (not a wing room). They seem to be larger, a bit more well kept, and have K-cup coffee machines.
They are also a crew lodge for the Cruise Ship staff. HUNDREDS of them each weekend.
Next stop for this place is Clarion, where hotels go to die.
For a SeaTac Hilton brand property, definitely the HGI next door or the 28th Avenue Hampton.
Trust me, the crews have seen worse. They are probably happy to be so close to the airport (as long as the room itself is clean). But that was a great hotel for years -- and I still remember the rooftop buffet restaurant where we went for holidays back in the 70's and 80's. Come to think of it, that hotel is getting really OLD...
