Do you know any solo travelers who haven't been able to get a window or aisle (for free) 48 hours out? This topic comes up pretty often on FT (various airlines), and I've never really understood why.
I don't fly for three more weeks, so do not know yet. Considering how low the fare is, I assume demand is not super high, so am hopeful I will be able to get an aisle seat both ways. Will try to remember to report back on my experience.
