I have an upcoming trip to brisbane in about 3 weeks. Im kinda stuck as to which hotel would be nice to stay at?

Given that im not familiar with the area, i was thinking of maybe just doing the theme parks of wet and wild, sea world and movie world.

From my understanding, the gay culture in the area is not as friendly as sydney or Melbourne. I do however know that yes gay beats do exits in the form of Bodyline and Club R(or a sex club with a similar name)...

I am travelling with a conservative parent but i like to stay at a hotel where there is gay activity(not necessary sex) nearby or that the gay stuff are friendly.

Can anyone offer any suggestions? I would be very grateful.
