The more information you give it the more tailored the response. I used really simple requests I could have done something like 'design me a one day itinerary for Kuwait starting at the millennium hotel at 7am and returning by 6pm. Include local restaurants for lunch and dinner. Do not include visits to parks or scenic walks. My interest for this visit are architecture, science, technology, food, culture. I want the itinerary to be busy. organise the itinerary to minimise travel time, assume all travel on foot or by taxi. Provide links to official sites and trip advisor. Provide a 2 paragraph description of each stop'

Oh, and you can also do silliness like 'give all responses in pirate speak' or 'for a ten year old, or 'using as complex language as possible' or 'as rhymes'

The version of GPT used will also change the results. It's a dangerous rabbit hole to go down
So I’ve given it a quick try and I’d say it was partially successful, maybe down to the way I phrased my questions.
Brief background, although my trip is a total of eight days t is split into three distinct elements, the first of which I asked it to help with. Three nights, two complete days in Reno.
It started well and suggested the Automobile Museum for the first morning which was on my radar anyway, then a venue for lunch close by the museum, which looks decent enough. For the afternoon it has suggested the Museum of Art which would not normally be my bag, but I checked it out and there is a Sea Dragons of Nevada exhibit concentrating on Paleontology and the time Nevada was under a sea and ruled by giant sea monsters. There is also a visual exhibit by a British artist so I may have a look. It then recommended a restaurant for dinner that is permanently closed!
Day two’s recommendations are a disaster so I’ll have to go back and redo. Morning recommendation was a planetarium and science museum which is only open Friday/Saturday when I’m not there. Then afternoon it wants me to visit an air race museum which I can find nothing about on google. At least dinner that night looks good.
All that said an interesting first attempt!
