Sorry, but you clearly either don't understand what is convenience food (=tertiary processed foods) or have no grasp of how they are employed in professional kitchens. E.g., over 400 preparations of potatoes on offer on the wholesale market for professional kitchens, including many varieties of gratin potatos, latkas, duchess potatoes, Kartoffelknödel, etc. It would be incredibly naive to assume these are targeting the likes of McDonalds and KFC.
This seems to be a very arbitrary and circular argument. What is your actual point? You don't like the look of the food? Then say that. It is your opinion, not fact.
