The link you provided refers to TSAPre (and probably, by extension, Global Entry). "The name submitted on your airline reservation must be an exact match to the name you provided on your application" is covered by API data, which the OP has already said includes full passport names.
The boarding pass is completely separate to this and no-one at BA will bat an eyelid.

and my experience shows that sometimes people do bat an eyelid. We were told my partner would not be allowed to fly and they could not change the name on the ticket. The BA manager on duty at the airport changed the name as an exception. Mind you he was silver at the time and never had the issue before, after that we had to manually get his exec club profile changed to include the XY name.
