Although there are many smaller airports in Brazil where you can literally walk from your home to the aircraft (IOS comes to mind), the most extreme example I can think of is CGH, the second busiest airport in Brazil by passenger traffic (about 22mio in 2023) - it has over 250k flight movements per year, so it's not a small regional airport. The city of Sao Paulo has grown so much that is has completely surrounded the airport so that the light beacons of the landing strip are literally installed on top of the surrounding buildings...
