People just like to moan and do the 'DYKWIA' whine... "I paid many thousands to be here, I don't like the look of them so they must be freeloaders who are drinking and eating all the stuff which is actually for me because I am SOOOOO important"

TBH, the lounges are nice, but the booze (I like whisky for example) is usually the cheapest and the food is usually mass produced...

These are places for hotels (and airlines) to get us to feel more exclusive and important (it works a treat on me TBH) and also spend more money, yet for them they want it to cost as little as possible as it denies them revenue in their own F&B outlets...

But as ever, supposedly smart people who travel lots and likely have big important jobs lose all sense of insight and sense when it involves themselves and something they don't like...
