It was mostly achieved with 2 x long haul trips, by stacking various deals on top of one another - very cheap First class flights booked during Covid, which were cancelled (as I expected they would be), so it allowed me to optimise them further, yielding 1,640 tier points per trip. Those days are long gone though. Renewing GGL at 3,000 will be considerably more expensive than it cost to get GGL in the first place.
