Since we are in the Hawaiian credit card thread, a little tip for those AS members who recently became proud holders of shiny new Hawaiian cards: one HA Mastercard benefit is no-fee sharing of Hawaiian miles. I was managing an account for an infrequent traveler family member who I had bought AS tickets for a few times. It had about 5000 miles in it that I was hoping to eventually use for a flight. I now was able to transfer those miles into my account in a roundabout way: first I created a matching Hawaiian account for the AS account and transferred the AS miles to Hawaiian. Then I transferred the miles (without fee, since I have the HA MC) into my HA account. From there they will return to my AS account.
