2F is over capacity and a bit ageing, so it is not fair to compare a single terminal versus an entire aeroport like AMS. That would be like saying the B gates at AMS are underwhelming versus CDG as a whole.

The non-Schengen 2E halls have better facilities as it caters to travellers non-Schengen. But you are free to pick any aéroport as you prefer.

For sure, the lounges are a couple steps better at CDG than AMS.
