Thankfully the other lounge options in LAX are fairly decent (certainly comparatively to other US airports…I’m looking at you San Diego and Las Vegas)!
in LAS the historical problem limiting lounge expansion has been that too many people would drink a lot and empty the cellar too soon
but now with amex things have changed
