You may have read my original post, but the B787-8 fleet is under particular pressure with 42% of the fleet on the ground for various reasons, so the B787-9 is covering some routes and others are being axed to ease the pressure.

Over ambitious network schedule that just cannot cope? BA seems to rely on short term tactical decisions and therefore more disruption to passengers by last second cancellations than being strategic and medium term focused. I know they want to keep slots but they clearly need to start chopping down the winter network schedule if the fleet is struggling.
