unless I fly Qantas or BA F (and I presume other OW carriers in F) i will not be let in the lounge by non AA OWE status. While i’m often here flying BA F, I find it a bummer as I often use it with domestic AA F transcon and other tickets l, given the rather boring offers of the Flagship Lounge and the dire crowding if the Amex space.
I was told this might be temporary but if it goes as it might would be a huge disincentive for non AA OWE to buy AA tickets ex LAX
The ability to enjoy the Qantas F lounge at LAX by virtue of my BA Gold status is the primary reason I chased that status with BA.
