I've had the Citi AA Exec since August 2023 (before that the Platinum, been a cardholder since 1994 when it was a Visa card). I have not had problems using the card overseas at all. I was in Argentina in March and last month and in Japan in May, and used it extensively for charges from a few dollars to several hundred dollars at merchants of all sizes.
