Has anyone run into this? I have been carefully constructing an itinerary for 6 people over the Xmas holidays, calling at 12:01 am exactly 331 days before each planned leg. Last night, I got a reservations agent on the west coast, who said she couldn't book because it wasn't midnight her time and I would have to call 3 hrs later, or I could call again and hope I got someone on the east coast. This was after waiting for 1 hour to get through because of our ice storm in ATL, where I live. By the time I got through again this morning, the flight I wanted was booked! I will complain to Delta, but I am stunned at the catch-22. By the way, an agent on an earlier leg said something similar, but then managed to book it.
