Well, I'm half way through my 4 hour stay in the YYZ SS and it is freaking awesome! And that's not even counting an awesome concierge (Samantha?) who picked me up in a Porsche!! I really wanted to walk, but how can I say no to that!?!?!

I accept that I don't get to experience super-fine dining or flying as much as many of you, though I've had my share (up to F and cockpit of a 747, and 3* restaurants). But the food that I've had so far (foie gras mousse, confit duck salad and halibut "roulade") has been pretty nice. I couldn't make any of those at home, though I know that some of you could. My chocolate mouuse cake is better than theirs and less over the top presented, but it's not bad, especially with some Lagavulin on the side.

The service is excellent, the pours are generous and while it's louder than I would like without my earbuds in, the atmosphere isn't bad. I do feel a very young 55 here, which is also nice .

Any suggestions for custom cocktails that they make here are welcome. Very slim chance that I can afford to come here again soon (.
