How reliable is the wifi on the aircraft? Would the wifi is stronger if they switch it from 738 to a MAX?
The route is important.
"stronger" is not really an relevant issue is the typre of internet system the aircraft uses. Most of the older 737 use Thales, some 737s and all the MAXs, use ViaSat which has higher BW and therefore are more able to do streaming apps.
