What I find interesting about all of these changes is IAD appears to be keeping the A380 year round (has gone 777 last few winters), and not getting PE. MCO and IAD will be the only two US routes without PE. MCO makes sense, but IAD seems like it would be a priority for PE.
I had considered that as well, but I fiugred that it must speak to the overall premium demand to IAD. The 76 J seats is higher than the number of J + PE seats on the reconfigured 77W's, so it would be a big premium capacity cut to go away from the A388. I have to figure that IAD had to be on the short list to get the PE equiped A388 if a few more had been completed.
