AA000000-AA999999 is one million by itself. There are 676 million possible 2L6N codes if you allow all two-letter combinations and all number sequences.
I was assumption there was a check digit but have no reason to believe there is. And I slipped a digit. So messed it up. Best not to post after a long flight.
