We've seen a number of times in this forum where someone has made Southwest purchases in the "sweet spot" (<$104 or so), and then some time passes with no credit and no meter movement. But the way it plays out is almost always: 1) the statement credits post, usually within a couple of weeks, or 2) turns out the cardholder either hadn't selected Southwest as their carrier with Amex, or for some reason Amex did not have Southwest as their carrier. With 2), call/chat to Amex can often solve the problem.
So...please be patient, folks. This hack has worked for years, and it looks good prospectively.
