Presumably most gift cards were used before Hyatt "going live" with MMS properties and even if used afterwards the booking wouldn't have been made with Hyatt.
Are they counting bookings made on Hyatt only or both platforms (since Hyatt owns the MMS platform)? If the former, you can't use gift cards on Hyatt websites, so I would imagine its only cash bookings.
