MP Account numbers with three letter prefixes

While I had/have a 0001xxxxxx pre-merger account and now 2L6N, my wife was 017xxxxxxxx and recieved 3L5N at conversion (in 2012)

After the merge and since there have been hints that some 2M+ accounts had been issued. Some are probably dormant but best not to reuse.

2L6N is limited to 5 million or fewer unique codes if you eliminate a few characters that look like numbers and certain number sequence, while 11 digits gave you billions with a check digit
If you add a check digit or similar to 2L6N you have a problem
