It wasn't much of a "promo" in terms of discounts, since you are essentially getting similar benefits now as you did during the promo, nights credits and points earning. The major difference at the time was one EQN per $300 vs actual nights.
I do regret not buying more GCs. The biggest reason is their slow integration. There are many MMS hotels I would love to stay at that are not bookable through Hyatt. Once they fix that, I assume more Globalists would book through Hyatt.
