Indeed, and so was award cancellation fees waiver for Platinum, it was
announced in February.
As for this benefit potentially coming at the expense of others, didn't we also get free changes/refunds on award tickets as Plats and up as well as the ability to do a miles overdraft? Especially the first of those two additions
Those were great. I haven't used any so far, but my money is that it can come handy to a way broader audience.
