This one was a "Pay Later" reservation, which was actually billed though and handled by Booking.com even though I made the reservation on the same aadvantagehotels.com that I always do. It took 5 weeks from checkout to post, and was backdated as they all are, to the check-in date.
I have always been reluctant to try the 'pay later' option. There's only been a handful of first hand accounts from folks doing that and maybe half of those were problematic in chasing their points down. Thanks for sharing a success story!
