The answer here is: it depends. Whilst the EU (and the UK) has again restricted the maximum liquids size to 100ml due to issues with the software recognition in the new scanning machines, it has not told individual member states how to implement that.
So in Munich, with a new machine, they let you keep everything in your bag - electronics and liquids - and just scan to make sure the volume of liquids is <100ml.
In Cologne, one Fast Track machine is new and one old, so it depends which lane you're directed to. Left and you take everything out. Right it's nothing.
In the UK, there's also still a mix of machines. At LCY, where they are fully converted, it's electronics in and liquids out. At LHR, only a handful of lanes in T2 have been converted (none in Gold Track) so expect to take everything out.
In Lithuania, they haven't done any conversion as far as I'm aware so it's everything out.
CDG specifically I don't know having not flown through there for many years but given the size of the operation there I would expect there's still a mix of old and new scanners.
