I don't mind them not joining, and indeed AerClub members are much better today than years before.

But the biggest drawback is still the unnecessary complexities of reciprocal status benefits across the airlines. Particularly outside the DUB-LHR route.

Surely if full Oneworld membership isn't the right option, at least being a Oneworld Connect Partner is?
