My SO just tried to access the EDI Aspire lounge at Gate 16 but was turned away. She's Air Canada 50k, Star Alliance Gold, flying Air Brussels to BRU in Y. The agent said she would only have access if she was flying to Canada, or if she had a Brussels Air card. Does this sound right?

She put her Aeroplan number in while making the booking, and I saw on her boarding pass that she had fast track security, so the system seems to have picked it up.

I've had no trouble accessing that lounge when flying LH to FRA. Am Air Canada Super Elite/*A Gold.
