IME -- on Japanese Airlines the price will not go down -- they would rather leave a seat empty than discount... We live in Tokyo and NYC and watch these routes all the time -- prices will not decline -- I would lock it in -- and as I posted before -- you can save about $1,500 if you stay longer -- more than enough to cover the hotels -- and trust me it is worth it!
