I thought there was only two systems, the old 11 digit version and the new one with 2 letters and 6 numerals/numbers.

But my wife's is 3 letters and 5 numerals/numbers. I have gone to browsers that I have never used before and manually entered it to be certain and this is the case.

Why? Is there a way to get it changed so it is like everybody else? I am confused, I guess only concerned about using it now and in the future.
