Today my mother booked 2 round trips using Skymiles. This left 3522 points. Since she doesn't have any status/credit card, etc, she will need to pay checked bag fees. During checkout, there was an indication that she could pay for a single checked bag for 3500 points, which was perfect as she is trying to zero out the account. But when selected, it actually required 7K points (calculated for round trip). We could not figure out how to pay the bag fee for just one way. Is there some way to get this accomplished? Otherwise 3522 points will just sit there for all eternity...
