Had a situation where Mrs. Dokes and Bill Jr tried to access the YYZ TB on an award booking with her Aeroplan # on the boarding pass, showing her CIBC Infinite Black Aeroplan VISA, but nope, full rejection because she hadn't linked the card to her Aeroplan account. It's a task that takes 30 seconds to do, but you need to do it. Did the agent who rejected them suggest that?? NOPE!! Just seemed to enjoy turning them away, something I've seen at that podium time and time again.
"full rejection", as opposed to half-rejection where they are let in for 30 seconds and are allowed only one cookie?
I'm kinda confused why you would think its the airline agents job, in the lounge, to provide tech support for a credit card. As you say: It's a task that takes 30 seconds to do, but you need to do it.
