Monday 23 September update

Quite a few things happened during the course of yesterday including bad weather and a runway out of action due to a snapped lighting system.

BA440 AMS = APRN
BA932 CGN = ARPN
BA1336 NCL = ARPN
BA1426 BHD = TECY I think
BA554 FCO - diverted to PSA due to some issue at FCO then it flew on to FCO later, arriving 4 hours late. I doubt this is claimable but it depends on the details.

So a complex one today and there may be some more Italy cancellations due the strike by ground handlers. 678 LHR departures of which 337 are for BA. The weather is a bit better today.

LDZO (Zagreb) Several sectors regulated due to Weather (CB) - Moderate delays increasing to higher delays in the afternoon.
LGGG/MD (Athens/Makedonia) Kefalinia/Paleohora sector and Makedonia West sector regulated due to ATC staffing - Moderate delays.
LHCC (Budapest) Several sectors including combined KFOR sector regulated due to Capacity issues - Moderate delays.
LQSB (Sarajevo) High sector regulated due to Weather (CB) - Higher delays from 1000.

Weather: An overcast start with a few drizzly showers first thing and a L VIS2 risk until 07Z. Turning dry by mid-morning, though cloud stubborn to lift with limited sunshine until late afternoon. A very low chance of a light to moderate shower in the afternoon.
