The A330 seats are in fact the original Business Suite design (by Marc Newson), it was 'updated' (by David Caon) for the B787 and A380 with several mods including larger aisle-facing panel, different storage arrangements, colour schemes, materials, trim & finish, plus the design of the middle seats was altered so that there's a movable privacy screen divider between the seats which slides up or down. The original Business Suites had a different arrangement here, with a console shelving 'wall' that was fixed in place. Both seats are based on Thompson Aero's Vantage XL platform but heavily customised from the 'off the rack' product.
