hmmmmm… you even mentioned that club rooms are getting incremental reimbursement so not sure how the property is not gaining anything.
the “premium” room classification is new in a sense that it is not mentioned on any Hyatt member facing information. The premium room appears to be priced at the same level as a “club” award where the property does not have a club.
my point is properties appear to be able to use a new award classification to get ”increased reimbursements slightly” (your words) and open up additional redemption opportunities for members. How common is this? So far one property I found. Could be more. At least the system is setup for it.
