NOT naming the individual employees completely defeats the purpose of this thread. The thread isn't "Nominee for the Worst Anonymous Service Director." I, for one, will be on the lookout in SFO to avoid that previously named UAL representative, as I live in San Francisco, and SFO is the airport that I use most frequently.

As far as hiding behind an anonymous handle is concerned, I'm happy to come forward and give my name publicly in the forum if requested by either of the two previously named employees.

I still don't understand how a gate agent who works all day with the public both on an individual basis, and when picking up a microphone and addressing a crowd of several hundred people in a public place several times a day has a right to anonymity and privacy. Furthermore, if these folks are entitled to remain anonymous, then why does the company require them to show their names prominently on badges pinned to their shirts?
