Think it should be fine during the day; HND and PPT leave mid-morning (and PPT is only 3x weekly), CDG is a late afternoon departure (and goes to 3x weekly in the winter)…the evening hours will be the busiest this winter with SYD, AKL (both daily), BNE (3x weekly) and the BOS and JFK red-eyes.
I wonder if the Air France passenger spillover will impact it though. JFK has separate terminals, so most Air France passengers aren't using the JFK D1 lounge due to needing to clear security twice, but in LAX, they'll have easier access. Although less frequencies out of LAX than JFK though.
There is also the new VS Clubhouse coming to LAX though, so that ought to help quite a bit too. Not to mention the noticeably lower LF for South Pacific compared to Delta's higher LF out of JFK.
