No idea, but I came here looking for answers when I saw it and surprised that it's been 4 months and they have kept the X Hotel name. I wonder if it's a different owner than the Moxys in Tromso/Bergen, and there was a contract dispute that resulted in that one needing to change the name?

Also, it's crazy to me that this random hotel is the only one available in/near Oslo out of all Marriott/ Hilton/ IHG/ Hyatt / Wyndham chains. Even Accor somehow has none. On the flip side, Best Western has 3-4, Radisson has 11 and Choice (through their Strawberry partnership) has 28 (!) including 2 of the 4 hotels in Amex's hotel programs (FHR/THC).

Such an unique market, I'm fascinated by it.
