But unfortunately if it doesn't post automatically you have to wait the 8 or 10 weeks or whatever the official language says in the T&C's before an Amex rep will manually post it.
FWIW my 2H resort charge posted just fine last week from the Conrad Sardinia, charge on 9/11 then $200 credit on 9/16.
I'm more concerned that the hotel maybe coded themselves in such a way that Amex doesn't recognize it as a resort, and I really don't want to contact the hotel to get that straightened out. I'll wait a few more days (it's 10 days now since the stay) and start with Amex and go from there if I must.
