No more than Citi with AA, despite the fact that during the 2009 Chapter 11, Citi bought 1
billion dollars worth of Advantage miles to help keep the airline afloat, yet Barclays was able to switch from US to AA cards after the US acquisition.
BofA is a minor player in the credit card business, ALK should be in a position to negotiate a better deal for AS + HA, once the dust settles.
