I vaguely remember a property a few years back where the property was using the Club Pricing for awards because all the standard rooms were out of commission (at least that was the excuse), where the property didn’t have a club to begin with. Maybe there were others.

Just searching for next year and seems like in practice, (at least one) property without club can use “club” award pricing for Premium Room without a club while standard award are available.

I guess the more options the better, right? Not debating if this is one off or whatnot but would be interesting to see if more properties will catch on to make more award redemptions at highly sought after properties… though leading to higher redemption costs for members and properties reclassifying room types to get more.
